And if people are like "ew you don't go to church?" just be like "yeah, and how is it your business?"

Its a little more complicated than that, I kinda want to still have friends. And where I live word gets around fast about so-and-so's kid not going to church. Don't really want to get dirty looks when I'm walking down the street.

I am a Southern Baptist, but I only go to church because my step-dad makes me and I will never hear the end of it if I do not go. I have thought about converting to Orthodox or Catholicism, but I am not entirely sure if I want to.

I do not agree with Catholics on their religious practices (praying through statues, having saints, etc.) but I still think they are Christian and I respect them.

The main thing that keeps me from switching is that how would the Body of Christ work under those churches? In the Protestant groups, one denomination is the ear, another is a foot, etc.

I am a practicing Roman Catholic, and I'm glad to hear that you are at least interested in some of the church's teachings. I agree, some things don't always seem right, however, I do like the fact that we have Saints. Saints just seem to help me have a role model of a real person who can do amazing things, and I appreciate how I can ask that person to pray for me, just like you may ask a friend to pray for you. And as for the church's organization, I like it far better from the Protestants' where most churches are on their own, and how there are so many denominations. That's just my opinion though, you don't have to take it to heart if you don't want to.

OP, may you please explain what Salafi, Shafi'i, and Hannbi Madhab mean? Are they sects of Sunni Islam?

I personally am Roman Catholic with influences from other religions, I'm trying to practice more.

What do you mean "how would the Body of Christ work..."?

With Protestantism, the Body is spiritual and ephemeral. With Orthodoxy and Catholicism, its a physical thing. Something you can actually point at and see with your eyes. If anything, we're confused by the Protestant interpretation of just what a "body" actually is when discussing the Body of Christ.
