I'd recommend listening more closely in church. You might find out that Christianity is right for you.

I regularly posted trans stuff speaking as a person with knowledge from experience on Facebook even if I had family members and neighbors as friends, atheism would be the least thing to shock them as I was open about it since long ago. xD
Being alienated from people who judge others because of petty stuff like this is in my opinion having the wrong kind of person avoid you, a net positive, and by addition it isn't unbecoming, rude and judgmental from you.

Well when you live in the Deep South if you don't go to church on a regular basis, you tend to be viewed as the spawn of the devil.

Believe me, I deal with plenty of Evangelicals who voice bigotry against other religions myself. In fact their avoidance of my existence is good.

Thank you, finally someone who knows the facts. The Inquisition killed 6000 people over 500 years, while witch trials killed over 120,000 people over 300 years.
