Pregnancy involves three groups. A & B (people having sex) and C (the fetus). Person C was not involved in the prior situation between persons A and B. It had no prior say, or input, or action. It should not be punished to alleviate the repercussions felt by person A (pregnant woman) as a result of her actions.
