Take all the murders, assaults and robberies in the USA. How many were done by low-income people?

The answer to all crime is to strip poor people of their rights. YAY!

You want to stop terrorism by stripping the rights of all muslims, you best strip all poor people of theirs because they are statistically more likely to commit a crime.

Everyone should respect each other, It doesn't matter if you are Muslim, Jewish, Christian or part of any religion. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

People often forget on this site that not everyone in the real world are affected by the politics of the whole situation, nor do the care, or that the belief systems are real and must be respected even if you follow something different then what they do.

The 1st Amendment to the Constitution of the United States states that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;"

It also states in the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution, "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws;"

And finally, the 15th Amendment states, "The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude."

While I, as an American, live under these laws, I am bound to obey and respect them. It has done me better to follow these and follow a path of respect rather than to be one that views others with suspicion, fear and hate. People who follow the Muslim faith are just the same as anyone else: they have beliefs contrary to me, or you, and we are all human.

We must respect that and get along, or else we put ourselves down a path to fear, hate and consequences.
