I neither approve nor disapprove. Unfortunately, I do disagree with UKIP because they're ducking crazy, but I don't live there, so I imagine voting for whomever is up to them...

Not that they are all that benign anyway. Messing around in the Mideast for starters. Still pining for the Crimea for another.

It sounds like someone doesn't like our tea :P

Gothic was initially a french creation though... it only spread to England later.

I disagree. They architectural styles are one of the best in Europe. However, Spain has some nice architecture to, but they are having some serious hardship within their country.

They did rule the greatest empire on Earth, which is quite the achievement I'd say.

However, especially in recent years, I have been disappointed with Britannia as they have moved to the political left and allowed socialism and mass-immigration to stifle their country (and not to mention their membership of the EU....)

Although I am not a Brit, I would probably support UKIP or the BNP.

I can tell you know absolutely nothing about my country. For one thing, Gothic is hardly the sole or even dominant architectural style here. For another, we have one of the most diverse cultures in Europe.

I thought the same thing about the architecture. First style I think of when I think of British architecture is Tudor.

First thing I think of is Norman castles and Roman ruins, but then this is just a stone's throw from my flat:

Nice.

I think we can all agree that the architecture is varied.
