It's an alright place. Could do with stopping giving fellatio to London and the South East though. A lot of people in it could stop being so concerned about the past though when it comes to policy and rhetoric, as could for that matter people outside it.

Not a big fan of their class structure, surveillance, or pro-American/pro-neoliberalism foreign policy, and of course the British Empire fucked everybody over. I also was pretty bummed that the Scottish independence referendum didn't succeed. However, a lot of great music, art, architecture, poetry, philosophy etc. has come from what is now the UK as well and it has a very interesting and long-spanning history.
