Australia, because I've had more beers from here any anywhere else.

James Squire makes a good drops. Except the Craic and IPA, those're horrible.

I've only tasted beer from one country - the United States. Coors Light and MIchelob Ultra are pretty good by my limited knowledge.

Most of the countries on the poll produce excellent beers. Some produce awful beers and beer like products.

For mass market beers, Japan's Yebisu is pretty decent. But the good stuffs made at the small breweries and microbreweries. There's been an explosion of craft beers here in the last 15 years. One brewery I know I can always depend on is Echigo. (Plus, it's from Niigata, which is one of my favorite places. :))

From Australia, I had a couple of nice bottle of Coopers pale ale yesterday that were quite nice. And their stout's good too.

From the US, some breweries and beers I personally quite like are:
While I was home at xmas, I found Goose Island, which makes very nice oatmeal stout.
Millstream also makes a good oatmeal stout.
Santa fe Wheat's good.
Shiner Boch is always good.
Sam Adams, Fat Tire, Stone Brewery, and Anchor Steam are all quite tasty.

I'm sure I can think of more when I stop, as my students sometimes say, "hanging over". 8-)

I've pretty much graduated to whisky, but when I do drink beer I gravitate to the ales, the porters, occassionally the stouts. I like Caledonian 80, on the rare occasions I can find it. Ditto for Fuller's London Porter. Kilkenny is my second line of defence.

Which colour label is that, red or green? Because the red one is foul.

Best Country: Ireland.

It's called Guinness, people, and it is a holy liquid that knows no deficiency.

And what is the heartiest, most nutritious forms of beer that makes an absolutely perfect cooking ingredient, beverage, or toast? Guinness.

Where is the Australia option?! We have the best beer, since drinking it is our national image and pastime.

The pale ale has a green label and the stout, a yellow one.

Ahh, I've not tried those. The red labelled one is foul, must be their lager.

The red label is a blonde ale. Haven't tried it.

My favourite is Uzavas Alus(http://www.uzavas-alus.lv/). However, one of the best palces to taste and enjoy different beers that I have been is the Porterhouse in Dublin: http://www.porterhousebrewco.com/beers.html

No particular order: Sam Adams, Bass, Harp, Guinness, Killian's Red , Rolling Rock, Yuengling, Rickard Red, Pretty much any Molson product

These are all pretty good but I think the German and Belgium beers are the best.

Most frequently I have Sam Adam's. Why? Mostly the price and availability.

In my defense, that's all I can get my hands on, courtesy of the puritanical laws in the United States that don't allow people who are otherwise adults in the eyes of the law to purchase such beverages.

Tuborg is amazing. First tried it at a festival and that particular pint holds the joint accolades of being not only the single most enjoyable beer I've ever had, but also being the most expensive beer I've ever bought...and after a quick trip to Wikipedia, I can tell you that Tuborg is made in wonderful Denmark!

Japan a beer country?

Well, I've never tasted Canadian beer, and I try to forget my experience with American one... I'll go with either Germany or Belgium, since Netherlands is not on the list.

I must admit that german beer is thus far the best I've tasted...

...excluding the stout. For the greatest of stouts, is indeed Guinness.

Gotta go with Pilsner Urquell. God bless the Czechs.

Honorable mention to Goose Island (Chicago Beer, baby!) for their Harvest Ale and their delicious India Pale Ale.
