Carl Sagan, astrophysicist and atheist wrote:"Science is not only compatible with spirituality; it is a profound source of spirituality.
When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages,
when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling,
that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual...The notion that science
and spirituality are somehow mutually exclusive does a disservice to both."

Huh. I'm wanting to marry a British person...

I have no intention of getting married. I would like to date more than one person, and I can't marry only one of them. The chances of me getting one are pretty slim though…

Nobody's a saint, and everyone's a sinner. You'll be pretty to someone, and hate by others. If you're hard on yourself before you try, then you'll never know, never experience, and never learn. Don't sabotage yourself before you even get started.

I'm not so sure, I've got pretty low self esteem. If school's anything to go on, life's gonna suck.

Only if you think it is, because then you run the risk of making a self-fulfilling prophecy. Life beyond school is vastly different, and everyone your age is self-conscious and not as confident as they would like to be and as they think everyone else is. If you think most people have figured out life at that point, you're wrong, most have no idea how their future is supposed to look like either

I don't know what to expect. I'll never be passable. I see so many people, they all look better than I will.
