Ugh, today is one of those days I'm feeling restricted by the binary.

I'm always puzzled by the idea that transgenders will lead to the downfall of Western civilization. Transgenderism (?) is really only prevalent in a small portion of the population, and seems mostly fixed on doing what is necessary to ensure trans folks' mental health (e.g., not falling into clinical depression). Similarly, LGB doesn't seem to be any sort of real threat. By the time population reduction starts to become an issue, we should be hitting the early Transhuman (not related to transgender) era and basic life-extension technologies.

Honestly, of the right-wing arguments about the downfall of western civilization, foreign religions seem more credible.
But that is a topic for another thread.

Just a note: Transgenders isn't the right term for us, it sounds like we're test subjects or something. Trans people sounds more friendly. Try and use that instead of 'transgenders'.

Well, technically nominalisation is a fairly common phenomenon in English, but I don't think it works well for most adjectives used to describe people, especially when referring to groups of people who have often been dehumanised.
