Apologies but I seem to have forgotten what you identify as.

I like to have my hair be in the 2-4 inches range.

No problem. I'm genderfluid (my gender changes around a lot, for no apparent reason).

My hair at this point goes just an inch or two past the tops of my shoulders. The last time I had it fairly short was about a year and a half ago (and even then it was about 3-4 inches long, and that was the shortest I'd had it since I was 12). It's mostly straight, but somewhat wav, and dark blond.

What pronouns do you prefer?

In my case, it is a disconnected undercut on the sides and the back, while I have a very long fringe a lot like Zac Efron's hair when he had it longer, but even more so, so that it reaches my chin on both sides. (Except not really, because my hair is straight when wet but very wavy when dry, so it reduced a bit in size ever since I cut it so it's nothing like those Bieber-like/emo-like fringes.) Google Images doesn't help a lot to understand the concept of ~male chanel~ styles.

in my opinion there are only 2 genders. male and female. it depends on what you were born with. but a body part does not determine what you like or what you should like. just my opinion and hopefully someone can explain to me their opinion

You're confusing gender and sex. Sex is the physical body aspect. Gender is mental.

I'm fine with he, she, and they pronouns, though most people call me by he pronouns. Today I've been feeling like a girl though, so maybe she pronouns would be nice.

Surgery does change your sex, true. It doesn't change your gender, though. For instance, when a transwoman gets surgery, she is changing her sex to female, but her gender has always been female, regardless of genitals.

Ah, well, a transsexual person is a transgender person who opts to physically transition using hormones and/or surgery.

And I unfortunately don't know as much as I probably should about intersex people, so I can't answer anything about them that Wikipedia can't. Some of the other occupants of this thread might know some stuff, though.

that is true and I guess i should of made it more clear instead of just "theres only 2" but what I mean is that you are born a certain way and only surgery can change it. basically im just trying to say that the way you are born is the way you are. and unless you want to pay for surgery to change it thats it. and you can only really change into one of those 2 (or be born with both as you pointed out)
