His record as Governor is atrocious and totally contradictory to all of his presidential policies. We don't need another Bushite in the White House. And anyway, he's unelectable. He couldn't beat McCain, he couldn't beat Obama, and he won't beat Hillary.

Rand Paul is the only sane, non-warmongering, non-bigoted leading member of the GOP. People who care about the party's long term survival - and America's future, as well - should vote for him instead.

No, Christie is the only sane Republican, alongside McCain

too bad he is corrupt as fuck then eh?

He's not, at all. He has a very good record at spearheading corruption in his district and being tough on piss poor union management.

Presidential candidates from New England have a record of not winning, but he should have at least run a consistent campaign.

You may be giving him too much credit to say that he spearheaded corruption. He simply took advantage of the corruption that already existed in New Jersey. Oh, wait, did you mean that he spearheaded the fight against corruption? Hah. Look, going after the unions is GOP pandering 101. If he happened to target a few actual corrupt individuals in the process, then that's great, but he doesn't get credit for the coincidence.

On one hand, this will become relevant again. On the other hand, so will all of the other Mitt Romney jokes. I don't know.

In a possible Bush vs. Romney primary, he's got my vote, I know that.

as I was reading the comments in the article about Romney running on the daily beast it occurs to me that maybe he wants to run again because THIS time he could release 5 years of his tax returns 2010-2015 and not have something in them that would doom his candidacy. he couldn't do that last time presumably because he didn't pay much in taxes but he's had the intervening time to fix that so he can run again.

I think Rand Paul has better chances than Mitt Romney but to be fair the media will not likely give rand the opportunity by spreading lies about Rand just like in 2012 with Ron Paul.

Mike Huckabee is quitting Fox News channel because chances are, he intends to run for 2016.
I've never been impressed with him, but- good or bad for the Republican field?

The candidate that will have the most impact on the Republican field is the Democrat that will be running. The big blue wall is either very close to or has already reached 270 electoral votes. Unless the Democrats field a complete idiot, who the Republicans pick will probably be irrelevant.
