How cute! Why not counseling. Send them their welfare dues to Iraq and Syria too. Like Denmark is doing. These people are misunderstood! Oppressed!

When the government finds a way to strip their citizenship, France can leave them in Iraq and Syria.

Cough, Israel (Judaism) Cough USA (Christianity)

So yes. I can say that they all apply repugnant social beliefs in different countries, but we don't go around bashing Christianity as part of mainstream political dialogue do we, and woe betide anybody who dares criticise the mighty Israel, in America anyway.

Where are people dying at the hands of Christians for using the Lord's name in vain?

In Israel? America? Dang. I didn't hear about it. It sounds like big news however. In fact, I don't recall anyone dying for sodomy in either nations too. Or usury in America. Or wearing clothes of two fibers. Hum.

No, we do. Maybe you don't in America, being the only overwhelmingly religious developed nation on Earth, whose politicians swear by the Bible, but we do. The developed, historically Christian world extends beyond America.

It's an ideological war, the West went against human rights conventions to get stuff done various times in the past and it's not going to stop now, this would actually be for a good reason.

Are you trying to reason and be fair with people who go kill and rape people for helping a crypto-state to establish itself and be able to oppress more people?
Well, if you are, you're quite stupid. People who have done that already have loose their humanity and should loose their citizenship too.

Let's not forget all American and Pacific Islander nations, plus a plurality or majority of African nations, are also historically Christian-majority and social conservatism is legislated in its name here too. ;)

Viva la France!

Although I'm not a French national and do not posses any French heritage, it's simply terrible of what has just happened with the Charlie Hebdo situation. Disgusting even, an attempt at censoring a magazine that satires everything, and I mean everything. This will backfire on whoever is responsible, if anything, it will cause more satires and jokes directed to Islam. If the protests and attacks on the Danes earlier did not deter the cartoons and jokes, then this will just make the pride and freedom of press stronger, if that makes any sense.

Repulsive and cowardly, seriously.

Maybe not.

I find it more concerning that American politicians will quote bible passages to indicate their opinion on matters of national policy far more disturbing than if they were required to swear on the bible.
