There's nothing Islamaphobic about being glad about a violent terrorist attack that killed many people because it proves your assertions about the religion and its faithful "correct". Nope.

That post was sarcasm.

I wasn't even talking about that "sarcasm".
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

Ole's posts, pretty much everywhere, have been pretty xenophobic.

Such as? No one is saying criticizing radical jihadis is wrong. But every other post is a slam against Muslims, Americans, or people who aren't French in general.

Except he's claiming the jihadis are representative of France's entire Muslim population.

Olerand never claimed that all Muslims are violent. The posts are mostly targeted towards extremists.

I'm also at fault for this, but this thread isn't about Olerand. It's about a terrorist attack. Again, I don't want to sound hypocritical, since I did chime in.

Including, I assume, the police officer who was killed by them during the attack.

Genius. Nobody would have expected that.

I really hope they will carry on the spirit of Charlie Hebdo. I must give them that, the French had the balls to expand the boundaries of freedom of speech, which is quite rare in North America. I know the French have an experience in satyrical pamphlets, something you can trace back to the Lumières where insulting the nobility was almost a national sport.

The police and the media have been saying that the female accomplice of the supermarket gunmen wasn't actually there but if you watch this video you can see a woman running off away from the police. Of course it could be someone else altogether but I find this to be most strange.

You really don't expect the French police forces to disclose all the details of an operation that's still ongoing, do you?

For them it is their Faith and Prophet who are sacred, not Freedom of Speech and Expression. And it's rather naive to ask them not to commit killing and mayhem in the name of "universal values" (tm)

But then we get to the conclusion the far-right supports. "If they won't stop killing, they should be kicked out or killed". Is that what should be done to extremists?

No of course not although I don't see the danger in releasing this particular detail. They have said she is still at large, so why not admit she was there?

I dunno. French media thought it was a bloody great idea to reveal the exact location of the person hiding under the sink in the warehouse while the terrorists were still there. No idea if the French police is more intelligent...

No, the bit about perfume was just the typical French hate for personal hygiene showing its ugly head. ;)

Overall, they tend to be - not that it takes a lot to be more intelligent than that. Especially when some of the media have just showed themselves to be so careless.
