Now that I think about, Syriza's proposals aren't really that different from what you'd suspect from a post-war mainstream social-democratic in the 60s or 70s.
Economic Left/Right: -5.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.95

Pros: social democracy, LGBT+ rights, pro-choice, free education and health care, environmentalism, Nordic model, secularism, welfare state, multiculturalism
Cons: social conservatism, neoliberalism, hate speech, racism, sexism, 'right-to-work' laws, religious fundamentalism
i'm a dual american-new zealander previously lived in the northeast US, now living in new zealand. university student.

How many times do I have to explain it to you?

As many times as it takes for you to form these things we call "words" into a coherent and logical argument.

Thank god there are at least a handful of other people out there who stand firm against what's happening.

I know. What makes me sad is that those people who support Syriza aren't even Greek, they won't have to suffer the consequences of their policies.
"Nowadays everybody's got to go to shrinks and counselors, and go on Sally Jesse Raphael and talk about their problems. Whatever happened to Gary Cooper, the strong, silent type? That was an American. He wasn't in touch with his feelings. He just did what he had to do. See, what they didn't know is once they got Gary Cooper in touch with his feelings, that they wouldn't be able to shut him up. And then it's dysfunction this and dysfunction that and dysfunction vaffanculo!"

Yes, as a matter of fact. I don't know about Greece, but a lot of countries give the right to vote to citizens living abroad

Greece doesn't, and this has been an public issue for quite a while. If the Syriza government could give Greek citizens abroad voting rights, more power to them.
