They look fine after a couple of pints of Guinness and that's all that matters :p

How dare you, I almost spilled my pint in outrage!

So, clearly, I have not liked the turn Disney animation has went with their movies since 2007.

You know, I don't dissagree.

And at that rate, Cars and the Incredibles are on the bubble. They were barely included on the list of animated Disney movies that could be watched by my unborn future kids.

The fireworks were not that bad this year, I am pleasantly surprised.

The group of people I was with got hit by two things that we presume were rockets going off in close proximity. Some of our clothes have holes burned into them and our ears are still ringing.

Disney should have given up after Mulan. Can't top it, sorry.

Just be thankful it's only your clothes that have holes in them.

It did seem to mark the end of the more "classic" style of Disney animation.

Mulan is still one of my favourite things ever.

Toddler me's favorite film was most certainly Rock-a-Doodle.

I didn't care much past that age.

Ponyo (which is actually a Ghibli production) and Wreck-It Ralph were pretty entertaining too, if you ask me.

We were supposed to have flying cars by now, but alas.

Patience, we still have until October 2015 to fulfill the BacktotheFuture-MartyMcFly Prophecy.

Fuck cars. I want high speed trains connecting the neighborhoods of every small town to the intercontinental mesh. From our central square to Tokyo in a few hours, with no complications.

The Emperor's New Groove was pretty good. Not quite on par with Mulan, but still pretty good.

Ok, it's five in the morning, we're going to try and finish the 24 hour slog and see if that helps with the total inability to sleep at logical times.

Watching Back to the Future II makes for an interesting retrospective. No flying cars or hover boards (yet), but we still have technology which puts the film's vision of the times to shame.

Means of transportation. It deconstructs your being and reconstructs you at the desired location.

Seems faster.
