No no no, you can not have a dual American citizenship easily. It is certainly doable but Check with the state dept first, they will tell her.

Yea, it's generally a more complicated process than that but the general gist of it is what Grim said.

I don't have to go through the trouble given I had my Salvadoran citizenship before I had my U.S. Citizenship so I am a Dual Citizen already. I want to go get my Mexican birthright citizenship, but that's something that it's by birthright that I should have it cleared given my mother is Mexican, and that's a whole different issue.

Only liability I will ever have: I will not be treated as a U.S. National in El Salvador ever, but rather as a Salvadoran citizen. Oh fun.

I don't think so...not if you're a full Mexican citizen but if you're an American or have similar ties it might.

Nope.

Mexicans usually can travel to Cuba. Of course, there's more than one way to go to Cuba ;)

Cigars, bring back cigars.
The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion … but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do.

The most fundamental problem of politics is not the control of wickedness but the limitation of righteousness.
