I really couldn't give two sh*ts about those who do. I was just trying to rebut a person who equates all furries to people who do.

It's hard to deny that a majority of the fandom enjoys the porn. However, my point is that it's okay, more than half the planet watches porn, who cares that there are those who prefer participants who have animal features? Really, I think for me, it's more about the exotic-ness involved. I tend to like the most creative OCs, rather than the generic anthropomorphic fox or dog. This is really all too human, ironically, as we are biologically inclined to diversify our gene pools in order to survive as a species.

But yes, it's not all about the sex. I've read some pretty interesting, non-sexual furry stories, and seen some cute drawings of furry couples cuddling and doing couples stuff that make me want to rip out my heart and sell it for gold.

I never cease to be amazed by how hostile people can be regarding the personal tastes and lifestyles of others, particularly when said tastes and lifestyles cause not a whit of harm to others.

Because some people enjoy going after targets they perceive as not being retaliatory. And then maybe a century from now when there's armed enclaves of furries we can thank those same people for pushing the furries in that direction.
