Preservation of life isn't restricted as being a desire of religious whack jobs. Many stances people have are due to what their religions say is right. Doesn't mean the issue is a matter of religion. There are many secular pro-lifers like myself who despise the religious pro-lifers with a passion because through the shit they do, nobody takes pro-life arguments seriously.

I believe there are also religious pro-choicers as well, so once again, it is not a religious debate. It's a matter of life and choice.
