Look, not all cops are honest. And none of us are perfect. And as for the pregnant woman thing, that is horrific. But it's not like cops- most cops, good cops- go out and seek blacks to kill.

And these "Good cops" sit back and do nothing when bad cops brutalize people. They're little better in my opinion.

Like you said, they should uphold the law. the law was violated by refusing a family to try and convict the killer of a boy who was shot without proper reason (in my opinion).

Law was upheld. Grand Jury was called, notified of the possible charges, shown evidence and they did not come back with an indictment. That is the Law, and not carried out by the Police. The Police are now enforcing the law with all due diligence. Tear gas is hardly the worst way to suppress a riot. *has been tear gassed many times*

I'm uncertain on how I feel about the verdict. It felt like it wasn't really clear cut.

I will agree on that statement. I felt it deserving of a trial and I am generally on the policeman's side on such issues.

However, a grand jury is pretty thorough so I am not exactly enraged by it either.

It's pretty clear at this point that you don't have a clue as to the law, or else you would realize that what has occurred was done pretty much to the letter of it.
