Black Friday is for the ancient folk.
Cyber Monday is the modern way to do it!

I haven't participated in these things for years. There are other times you can find discounts that don't involve trampling over others and fighting over the last TV in stock. Also not worth the hours of standing.

Since every year (or every other year), people get trampled to death in the rushes on black friday;

I wouldn't be sorry at all to see the government get rid of it.

I shall stay at home, have a drink, and play video games. I understand there is more to life than money, clothes, and discounts.

I live in Canada, Black Friday here is like a heavily watered down, worse than Boxing Day version of what it is down south. Nonetheless, if I get into the city that day I'll probably stop by Walmart or the Mall.

I live in an area populated by post-ironic hipsters who are too hip and edgy for that shit, so yes I will be going out. It's not really busy so I can get all the deals that I want without having to fight for it.

It's an American 'holiday' after Thanksgiving. Basically stores have huge sales. People tend too get too wild, though, and that's why most everyone here doesn't like it.
