A lot of the modern forms of the religion are disgusting and the way it is practiced in the mainstream in several countries is disgusting. There are decent forms of it that I have no problem with existing but the state supported varieties are often filled to the brim with misogyny and other reprehensible things. This will not always be the case, and my hopes are the more Muslims migrate to the west and the more generations that are already here gain a louder voice that these state sponsored strains be undermined from, the only direction true change can be achieved from, within.
