A better question would be how I'm supposed to make arrows for my bow. You need feathers for that! At the very least, you can shave a sheep and be out with it.

Well, PETA is apparently creating a Minecraft server to combat the abuse of animals in Minecraft. So no more killing sheep, cows, pigs or the newer animals now there. Personally, I don't understand why PETA has to be so weird and pretty extreme. The premise of the organization should be something we all agree with, which is the ethical treatment of animals. I am pretty sure most people believe in this from vegetarians to the most rabid meat eaters. So it just looks like the latest outreach of weirdness by PETA.

Frankly, setting up a Minecraft server with custom rules doesn't strike me as extreme or weird.

See, it's because PETA is only into senseless killing of animals that doesn't accomplish a purpose. See their animal rescue services where over 90% of the animals taken in are killed.

As for the Minecraft server, the message I'm getting is "harming animals is a no-no, but strip mining an entire island is A-OK".

Makes you wonder if they changed certain recipes. Be kinda hard to enchant anything without books...
