Anyway, this is exactly what PETA would do. Since Minecraft is getting a pretty decent popularity-shot right now (I don't know why), they decided to milk the cow and stir up some controversy that Minecraft players would see and violá! Attention!

Well, PETA is apparently creating a Minecraft server to combat the abuse of animals in Minecraft. So no more killing sheep, cows, pigs or the newer animals now there. Personally, I don't understand why PETA has to be so weird and pretty extreme. The premise of the organization should be something we all agree with, which is the ethical treatment of animals. I am pretty sure most people believe in this from vegetarians to the most rabid meat eaters. So it just looks like the latest outreach of weirdness by PETA.

No killing sheep.

I can get behind that.

But eh, I'd see it more as a publicity stunt.
