I mean this is Massachusetts, in New England, where only two years ago every Republican or nearly every Republican on the Congressional level was gone.
I think that would say something.

A recent poll, not by Rassmussen, showed 45 % of the Democrats are so disappoited with Obama that they might just stay home. I suppose a GOTV-campaign will save the day for Coakley, but it will be close shave in the end.

The only way that Massachusetts can go red is if Obama disappoints his base too much, and half the Democrats stay home.

That's how the Republicans always win.

Or via misleading ads, such as the misleading ad which quoted Coakley as saying "We've got to raise taxes". She said this in the context of raising tax revenue by increasing employment: the Republicans said that this meant that she's going to raise the tax rates.
Lies, deceit and thuggery....just another day in the life of a teabagger.

Indeed. There are significantly more Democrats than Republicans. If all the Democrats voted every time, they'd never lose. They never do all vote, though.

Fixed.
Please don't try and say that Democrats and their campaigns are all innocent.

Frankly I'd love to see a more liberal party in power, like the Green party. But realistically, voting for them doesn't do much. I hate to say that, I am all for voting for whatever you want. But honestly, I vote Democrat and I'm fortunate to have a pretty okay congressman (Norm Dicks) and okay senators Murray and Cantwell); I mean it could be worse, I could be in Nebraska.
