GOOD. That garbage has no reason to be posted in a fed or state government owned/controlled park land.

I wouldn't want a public structure telling me to worship Satan, and since this country believes in "separation of church and state", I believe it should be taken down.

Well if you read the Bible you'll know where Legion goes too!

Into a herd of wild pigs

Also I clicked on the link and actually saw that thing. Man that thing is ridiculously bad for the eyes. Here I am thinking its just a little Ark with animal cut outs and windows you can stick you head out off. That thing is not a play ground toy. I have a feeling the Christians who put that up there also broadcast 3:00 am Family Bible Reading Hour on religious channels.

It doesn't, but if it is already set up and paid for why destroy it? It's just to satisfy the bigoted views of State Atheism. They would rather destroy something kids enjoy than repeal a law that just causes crap like this to happen.

"Something kids enjoy?" I don't know about you, but I never found those spinning cylinders to be any fun. They're just cylinders that spin. Where's the fun in that? Hell, I've never even seen anyone actually touch the things. If anything, this is good. It means there's now room for a piece of equipment that the kids might actually like.

Atheists in America are not the persecutors. They never are. They simply can't be, as according to Gallup, Atheists are the most unpopular and least likely to be politically supported group in America; more than Muslims, gays, Mormons etc.

There is no "right" to marry, we don't treat women like they can't make decisions, and we don't dictate anyones healthcare choices. Get your facts straight before you start criticizing the greatest religion in human existence.

Civil marriage is a civil right and many Christians are pro-life. I'm not sure about "healthcare choices", though, and Myrensis' wording is presenting a point of view that is exaggerated, and ergo, annoying.

Also, I'm skeptical about the "greatest religion" bit. Sure, Christianity doesn't require human sacrifice...but it does have its fair share of faults.

I don't see the big deal really. Anti-Choice laws, forcing children to say prayers and shit thats important. Some fucking playground equipment? I'm all out of fucks to give I'm afraid. Well, I still don't tell many people I'm a transsexual lesbian, but it is true. When I made new friends in college I told them because my Facebook page lists me as female, but my religious affiliation never became a subject for discussion. Therefore, technically more people know the former over the latter. ;)

Which is why it wasn't an issue to have it removed. It was just a silly mistake that was corrected as soon as the authorities were made aware.

Well some people clearly do give a fuck and they have the US constitution on their side. Personally I wouldn't be bothered by it, but some people clearly were and they have every right to ask that the constitution be upheld.
