I don't see how that's so upsetting, it's just a bunch of words, that's about it. At this rate, they might as well try to get the bible removed from bookshelfs as well.

The problem isn't that someone is upset. The problem is that it's illegal. First Amendment. Establishment clause. Incorporated by the Supreme Court in the 40s.

AND they took a fairly useless "game" commonly found on playground equipment and make it even less useful. the only possible reason to have that crap on the installation is a religious one.

Indeed. And if the local Christian churches are concerned that children won't learn about Noah in the absence of this crap toy, they can spend their own money and use their own premises to teach them.

Well, the city is offering to donate it and any Church (or other religious organization) that wants it can take it. Installation would cost as much as it costs to get a few volunteers to do it, or the price of a couple handymen.
