The results are repulsive.

Why is assertiveness repulsive lol?

This made me think:

Even though I consider myself a Deist, I still choose to embrace the culture associated with Christianity. This would be like an Atheist Israli having a Bar-Mitzvah. So while I lack the beliefs of a Christian, I still enjoy some of the advantages of adopting the culture that was created from the Christian idea. So looking at a Noah's Ark play park, I would say that I don't believe the story behind the Ark, but I am damn well gonna play in it! (provided it was socially acceptable to do so :p).
I may start using this as my main account, I dunno.

Yeah, they should've kept the old toy, because the story of Noah's ark teaches kids about mercy! The story where god kills all but like 10 people on the entire planet because they didn't obey him. Mercy, yeah.

Hell, there's a MASSIVE difference between what's on paper and what is being enforced.

On paper, Nevada still bands homosexual marriage, but they have been marrying for a month now. They're STILL trying to get something stripped out of the Nevada constitution that has long since been illegal, but because of the way the process works, it hasn't been passed.

It's still a law that has been passed. Before the Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional, it WAS oppression.

I was referring to the post in general, but since you asked... I am well aware of (sometimes successful) attempts to ban niqabs in several nations, but that was not what you were talking about.

You said, quite specifically:
I hope those athiests run up to a muslim woman in the street and rip off her niqab whilst screaming about how they dont want to be "subjected" to religious propaganda.

Which implies that American atheists in generals, or these in particular, might see Muslim women wearing a niqab in a public street in the same light as the use of religious iconography in public facilities.

One hell of a strawman.

And the great flood really happened, so did several other things mentioned in similar times in many texts. Just look up the literary proof of the flood.

2...and? What is your point?

So after all do you have a problem with the state displaying religious messages from only one religion, or is that just an aggravating factor?

And I don't. I'd rather not have my public areas displaying religious symbology as it makes me uncomfortable being there and being in the town.

3. lolwut. Expand.

1.
And, if something has "secular value", as in, mainstream-accepted moral or educational content, it shouldn't be banned just because it happens to be presented by some religion. Proposing that religious messages should be banned full stop is a non-sequitur where we're practically quasi-copyrighting ideas presented by whatever religion so they cannot be displayed by the state. With this logic, I could go out and make a bogus religion that prophesizes that "hotdogs are cool", and the govt. would be eternally banned from saying that hot dogs are cool, because someone already did it, it happens, as part of a religion.

You're really really bad at this.

2. I have a problem with religious favoritism, which is strictly prohibited in our government.

3. I really don't know why I have to explain since its plain fucking obvious. For one, the government favoring a religion makes me uncomfortable as it means I'll be treated discriminated. It basically saying. "If you are not x religion, you are not welcome here" to me. And these are public fucking areas. PUBLIC. as in everyone can use. But with religious symbols it sends that message, that I'm not welcome because of my beliefs.

A genocide its the complete destruction of a specific group, species, or people. This was an apocalyptic scenario, everything was being wiped out, not just one thing. And the great flood really happened, so did several other things mentioned in similar times in many texts. Just look up the literary proof of the flood.

There isn't enough water on earth for sea levels to rise 5.5 miles.

"They that love beyond the world cannot be separated by it. Death cannot kill what never dies." ~William Penn
"Three for Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne,
In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One ring to rule them all, One ring to find them,
One ring to rule them all and in the darkness bind them,
In the land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
