That Argentina didn't default? Now, where did you post anything that points to the fact that G20 and the UN says so?

The foreign minister underlined that under any Argentinian control of the Falklands, its residents, who according to all polls are implacably opposed to any involvement by Buenos Aires in their affairs, the “interests” but not the “wishes” of islanders would be respected.

He said: “The interests are, for instance, their way of life, their right to have their own language, their right to be British subjects. Their wishes can be something they would like to have but they don’t have, even if they want.”

So lets count then, so all the EU members and all the Commonwealth, as well as a majority of our NATO allies accept the British claim or at the least accept the current British rule as legitimate (the EU organisation says this but most members accept sovereignty as well). The UN has never said it supports the Argentinian claim, it has only ever said dialogue must occur (so as soon as Argentina lets the Falkland islanders be involved in any talks we can start).

So whose that leave for Argentina, just Latin America (no surprise there) and China, which only supports you in return for you supporting their sovereignty over Taiwan.

Two rival nations claiming the same territories, who have been to war over said territories are refusing to trade. I fail to see the problem.

Argentina still has anti-British propaganda on road signs, they still forbid flying the British flag, they still refuse to let British ships dock at their ports even under emergency circumstances and nobody cares.
Britain refuses to sell weapons to a country they know could potentially attack them and the people of NS complain.

No, most of the world doesn't support Argentina's claim. Most of South America's governments and the Chinese government supports Argentina's claims. Nobody else supports Argentina. USA and EU have said they will back whoever has de facto control, which is currently Britain.

What is Argentina's claim based on, again, seeing how virtually every resident wants the status quo?
