Possibly most ambitious air operation of the RAF ever, since or to come.

The number of tankers alone was amazing, getting them to the right places at the right times over 4000 miles of airspace, refueling each other all the way.....

Fucking mind boggling.

1 out of 20 isn't a really good track record though.

Good. That should make some headway into forcing a serious rethink on the Argentines' part about treating the Falklanders with the contempt they have.

It was one crash in a 27 year operational history. I'd say that was a good track record and the general design of the concorde had nothing to do with the disaster.

You do realize that this sort of "argument" could be used to pick at every example of difficulty in your own country's history, ending with the conclusion that it's dangerous for you to even be allowed on a computer in case you hurt yourself? Don't like that? Well that's the level you're operating at with your sickening racism.

Kinda is when you think that those 20 racked up just shy of a million flight hours between them. I'd wager that one crash in a million flight hours would compare favourable with aircraft of other, much simpler and more standard designs.

Sadly for you it's pretty self-evident that Britain's aviation industry has, since the 2nd World War, been at the forefront of the world, overtaken by the US due to its size and economy, but still functioning competitively and in ways above its own weight.

Just like... Well, everything else about Britain, tbh.

Come back and speak like the big man when your country can feed its own people and maintain a transport infrastructure whose main operational goal seems to be to kill as many people as possible.

No not really, An average luftwaffe pilot had more kills than his RAF counterpart, Britain just had more planes at the end of the war and goering was to bombing the civilians instead of radars and factories
