I don't like calling languages disgusting. Every language is beautiful in its own way. There are some languages I would consider especially beautiful, like French, but there are none I would consider outright disgusting.

Uh no. OP sounds like they're butthurt about English not being Germanic enough.

English lost its main Germanic root when the Normans came. They introduced many French words, which contributed to Middle English, which then went onto Modern English (what we speak).
English is still a Germanic language, but it has many words from Latin languages.

And no. I don't think the OP is butthurt that English is not Germanic enough.

The point is that English is easy enough as it is compared to other lingua francas (apparently the plural form of lingua franca according to Wikitionary), especially German. French, meh.

Not to mention that OP's proposed solution is easier perhaps mostly for Germanic-speaking natives and not necessarily for other (inc. Romance languages) speakers.

I may have been thinking about this for a while. I agree that the phonetiks are a little messed up, it iz pretty hard to learn a language that haz a lot of different soundz to a single letter. Your... "suggested reform" is kompletely undoable, however. It would be too hard for native speakerz to make such drastik changez.

while we're at it, we kould replase "th" with x, and "ch" with c, and "sh" with q, so that's less konfuzing. Which would make my earlier statement:

It would also help retain a distinctly "English" feel to the language ('c' was already common in Old English, often used in a lot of places where 'k' is used today; e.g. cyning or 'king').

That is true, however (I edited my post a bit) we could also use the extra letters to represent sounds like "th" "Sh" and "ch".
