Anyway, the video starts in the middle of something but from what I see the woman and her friends were being dicks and then started assaulting people. Then escalated things by picking up an object. Then she smacked a dude, who hit her back. Then everyone started fight without any apparent rhyme or reason as to who they attacked. If I got anything wrong or missed details, tell me.

The woman initiated and then escalated the fight. I see nothing wrong on the man's part, though he could have been a bit more diplomatic.

I've always been confused by this, so enlightenment is necessary. Living in the 21st century, each gender is told to treat the other equally. Now if a man hits me intending to fight or humiliate me, I'm going to hit him back (never throw the first punch). Through the logic of treating each gender equally, should I not do the same to a woman?

I don't believe the law of any country says you can't defend yourself if your attacker is female, so you can legally slap away if a woman assaults you.

No. My current girlfriend is a very polite reasonable girl usually unless you piss her off, then she will argue her point mercilessly. She was not educated of the mannerism of a polite society. She should still be respected.
