(UK of GB and) NI General Election 2015

Green Party or the Alliance. I am a social-democrat but would not vote for a sectarian/Irish Nationalist party like Sinn Fein or SDLP.

I understand why some are sceptical of Sinn Fein, but SDLP are just ordinary Social Democrats who believe in Irish unification.

I'd go SDLP but Sinn Fein tactically depending on the seat.

Yeah, SDLP is better than SF but I'm opposed to NI leaving the UK.

Hmm, a tough one. naturally I am a Greenie, however admire the SDLP for their historic fight, but would probably be a borderline Alliance voter due to their cross-community instinct and support for anti-racism in Belfast. However, if I lived in Northern Ireland I prob vote for whichever of those three parties was most likely to win.

If I were to find myself living in Northern Ireland I would almost certainly vote Alliance in protest at the continued - though likely unavoidable for the foreseeable future - dominance of sectarianism within local politics.

If I had no Alliance candidate in my constituency, I would lock Frazers and Chucky Arla into a broom cupboard in Stormont, and make them arm wrestle for my vote.
