But you're 20 and I don't know if that alternative is open. Besides, you would need to go to court and your parents would need to agree to let you do this.

Would have helped if MSU had an architecture program. I was told to transfer to UM or a private university elsewhere if I wanted to pursue architecture. UM and many private universities turned me down before, and wouldn't even think of me as a transfer student.

I was considering that once I get my diploma, I call for FDF office responsible for issues of reserve soldiers and ask, if they can change my war-time placement into something more fitting for my current civilian training. Ie if Finland would find itself in war I'd be POG rather than infantry man.

In Finland reserve POGs and grunts (IE folks who completed mandatory military service and are on mandatory reserve time) get exactly same pay in domestic reserve activity
IE
On voluntary reserve courses it's daily allowance+travel compensation
and one mandatory reserve rehearsals it's daily allowance+reservists' salary+travel compensation.
