I have a feeling you're so hung up on the university thing that you're not understanding that the praise I'm giving her is about the way she's handling herself in her transition from MtF. And, under her circumstances, she is doing quite well.

Yeah, probably depends by state since NY is expensive.
Issue there is I've a plethora of options and just choosing one city to focus on, and if I choose the wrong city, don't want to do that and not have anything open. I'd have to choose wisely.
At this rate anyway If I applied today, I may not be actually working until February.

What do you want to do? Career-wise? Is it only airline or are there other things you're interested in?

Career wise, I'm not even certain I want to work with an airline. I don't have any particular aspirations anymore since art, architecture, etc. are off the table, and I really can't think of anything I really love, have ability in, and can be considered a career. Hobby, maybe. But not career.

That doesn't mean you don't qualify for any aid here, though. It just means that parent's income can decrease( or increase) the support, before you're 21 years.

Getting into an architecture program is difficult enough. Getting a job in architecture is even harder.

Getting into an architecture program is not that difficult if you get into Community College and raise up your transcript grades.

The main thing is whether or not you have the money to pay for it.

I was considering that once I get my diploma, I call for FDF office responsible for issues of reserve soldiers and ask, if they can change my war-time placement into something more fitting for my current civilian training. Ie if Finland would find itself in war I'd be POG rather than infantry man.
