And it's true, the people who go on these talk shows are bringing awareness to the movement, but not the type of awareness people would like, not the awareness they desire, and the people who are on the side of gamergate have done nothing but navel gazing.

Indeed, that's the picture they paint, but are they wrong though?

See, many people are comparing this to feminism in that feminism is also not centralized, but there's a vast difference between feminism, the civil rights movement, and gamergate. The main difference is that these people had a unifying voice, a unified message, and they made organizations and groups to deal with being unified. The Catholic Church has the Vatican, Islam has the Qu'ran, the prophet Muhammad who they seek to exemplify, and many upon many years of existence and organization.

Gamergate doesn't even have that, they have no cohesion.
