The majority of North Carolinians voted against gay marriage. The majority spoke. The Judges that are doing this are doing so under the SCOTUS's decision to not speak on Gay marriage. Judges in Idaho and Nevada have been knocking down laws left and right under the guise of the laws being "unconstituional" when the very body that decides that has not spoken.

This is an ideological move. Last year, the Court ruled that state attorneys general could simply refuse to defend state laws in favor of traditional marriage, thereby allowing the executive branch of state government to completely destroy law it doesn’t like. The Court furthermore set the predicate for future same-sex marriage rulings in United States v. Windsor, in which, as Scalia summarized, the Court declared “anyone opposed to same-sex marriage an enemy of human decency.”

Instead of upholding their duty to decide the constitutionality of laws, the Supreme court uses a political and ideological move and redirects the authority to the Appeals courts and the district courts. Judges are single-handedly using their "power" to strike down laws that have been upheld as constituional because of their personal ideological vendettas. They have no concern for the people in the states(WHO WERE IN THE MAJORITY) who voted against gay marriage and succeeded in 11 additional states.

Now judges will be going outside of their bounds and striking down laws. How dissipointing, first the Supreme Court abandoning it's duty to atleast give a ruling on this and now the forced acceptance of Gay marriage.

You know, I'm beginning to think the LGBT's motto is "tolerance and love-..If you agree with us, and if you don't you're a homophobe."

It's sad. This is sad. Our legislature needs to stand up and demand the SCOTUS do something.
