True enough. Dandelions, oats, corn. I think the list of things you can make alcohol from is longer than the list of things you can't.

You can make beer out of barley. Actually I think that's what most beers are made of.

Bag of sugar is all you need for rudimentary "lets get wasted" alcohol.
If taste is secondary to "lets get drunk" aspect that is.

You must be confused about the meaning of freedom. You've staunchly supported authoritarianism over freedom

First a circular response, now we're begging the question. Neither of which actually prove or even answer anything.

Strange that someone who claims to be pro freedom desires to ban pretty everything they don't like.

Nope, just harmful things.

Millions of people starved to death in the USSR. Obama is continuing to promote the American war machine. I need stronger evidence.

Good point. Distill it correctly and you can get pretty close to rum.

How would that make banning alcohol a success this time around? I would imagine there's more to it than just being able to monitor/connect with Americans in more ways.

People can not be trusted with scissors. Scissors kill more people on average each year than zombies and Darth Vader combined. Scissors must be banned.

They hurt the national work ethic, and fraternity.

Why work when you can drink liquor and smoke reefers?

Obama is right wing and socialism wasn't implemented correctly in the USSR.

You've repeatedly failed to answer mine, though. For instance, do you plan on monitoring every single home?

And on the flip side people could use technology to easily find (or more easily than in the past) ways to make alcohol and this the black market would be bigger.

Obama is Center-left and the USSR, while arguably not Socialist, was certainly leftist.

If we ban alcohol. Do we then drown our sorrows into ice cream instead of alcohol?
