It's a clip from a Houston news station, and it clearly demonstrates how police can conduct searches into your home or vehicle from the air without probable cause or a search warrant. But you're right, there's nothing police state-ish about this....

what's the difference between this and a helicopter. If your so worried, demand they get rid of their police choppers too. I mean, honestly, if your not doing anything wrong, then you won't get in trouble. That news stations fearmongering because they didn't get invited to the party.Perhaps we should call the WHAAAAAAAMbulance for them.

Eh, this even isn't police-statish. But let's say it is. I'm willing to let a police drone look into my house window and see a lamp or whatever I have in front of my window that everyone can see in anyways because I kind of think my privacy for one day is less important then a life at risk or law breaking, however serious.

This plane can see through walls? Or are you talking about, you know, windows and such. They could already look through windows without an unmanned drone plane.
