I'm sorry, it's just that even on NSG, most posts are delivered with at least a modicum of basic reason or logic. Even the utterly illogical ones, at least they have a dash of wit. This is just...nothing. It is a void. It is the absence of anything.

There is of course no evidence that Moses actually ever existed or that the Jews were ever held as slaves in Egypt.

And see? You are defending the bible and you don't even believe in it.

No i am not defending the bible, I am using your own texts against your argument. That does not mean I believe those texts to be right.

Please do, from what I have read even most theologians agree that the Exodus never happened.

Probably not quite as it happened in Exodus, red sea and all. But they've discovered some interesting things in the desert, that suggest a migration similar did occur. The Problem is Tradition ascribes this to have happened during the Reign of Ramses II. Ramses II was notorious for white washing history. It's probably if it did occur, such a thing was stricken from all recorded history, a la Xerxes.

Well, not on a large scale anyway. It is perfectly possible that 20 or so men left Egypt in search of a new nation.

But claims that Jews formed the brunt of Egypts workforce and all left together after a series of devastating plagues are a bit contradicted by the fact that there is no evidence at all Egypt suffered a massive economic collapse.

Striking years of plagues and full economic collapse due to losing the brunt of ones workforce from history is not something one easily does. Especially since neighbouring countries would have noticed.

Your brain is your mind, your brain is what makes you you and what "creates" your thoughts, thus when your brain stops functioning you stop existing. As I mentioned earlier some atheists believe in reincarnation.

Do you admit you are wrong about the sphere thing?

Very true, no doubt it was embellished which is common of these types of texts across all the ANE. Also there's no scriptural evidence that the Hebrews formed the bulk of the Egyptian work force. That's a traditional Romanticization. We know the labor force was very well payed, most likely the Hebrews were a slave class that had menial tasks (if at all)

Us understanding your text and using it to argue against you is not the same as us approving or defending your texts. Just because I read Mein Kampf so I understand Hitler's rationale does not mean I subscribe or defend it.

Then why did you say it? And yes I did. I said specifically that the bible says Moses was born to a slave of Egyptians, thus Egyptians must predate Moses...That is using the bible against your claim. I also said that the bible is more than just the 10 commandments, in the old testament alone there are 613. That is a fact, not defending the bible, and using that fact against your argument that the ten commandments are the bible.

Either way, the bible is irrelevant, because clearly the Qu'ran is the True Word.

Or, you know the other way around, considering the Bible predates the Quran

What?
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman
