And explain how people living in straw huts thousands of years ago seemed to know MORE than we know now.

That is exactly my point. The people of the earliest civilizations don't know anything. Other than what God has put in their heads to write the bible that we know today. Only god knows more than we do, therefore, everything that came true in the bible came from the almighty God.there is something called special revaluation, everything that man wrote down in the bible came from god, through spiritual events.

Technically it is infinite.
There was no "before" the Big Bang.
Because for there to be a before or even a cause, time must exist by necessity, and all time is contained within the universe.

So there has always been life? (In your opinion)

I cannot take the bible seriously. I can pick apart Genesis 1 right now, if you wish.

There are Christians who believe that Creation didn't literally happen over 6 days, but rather long periods of time.
Now it says that plants were created on the third day, and the sun on the fourth day. Since plants need the sun to do photosynthesis and survive, it stands to reason that if Creation had happened over a long period of time, there would be no plant life, because it had all died before the sun arrived.

To create the universe you would have to "outside of it" but that's impossible.
If god is those things, then he, by definition, doesn't exist.

If the universe has always existed, then why don't we have infinite history about it and clear details on how it developed?

because history is as old as human writing.

Deduction based on fossil evidence, geological evidence and what we understand about biology of currently existing organisms.

Actually (as far as we can tell), Aristotle was the first to give solid evidence that the Earth is round, and the Earth's circumference was calculated by Eratosthenes around 240 BCE. Sailors may have been the first to suggest it, by observing the different horizons one could see depending on if they were in the crows nest or not, but it would be a stretch to say sailors "discovered" the Earth was round.

I agree, I phrased what I said incorrectly, i'll re-phrase it.

Sailors played a somewhat major role in the discovery of the Earth being round.

Can you provide proof please? How do you know the only people back then that thought the Earth was round were Christians? If I re-call when Christopher Columbus was still alive and people still believed the non sense that the earth was flat he spoke to Spain's king and qeen at that time which 8/10 were religious people and they thought the earth was flat and not round.

To an extent we do not know, science has actually almost cracked the code of life by studying DNA and genes but it the Universe doesn't need to be alive to create something alive.
