Like with the A-Flu, they said 150,000,000 would die...

The virus poses nearly no threat to the developed world. Of course it will affect a large web of nations, but it's hardly a threat to western nations. And your source does not support the idea that it's a threat to the west.
It seems to have been simply a misunderstanding, in any case. It's certainly a significant threat to Africa and other developing areas.
It could threaten the stability of them given the fact that it has horrifying symptoms, but I think nations overreacting is better than them ignoring Ebola.

I had a brother who is a doctor, and I kept his medical books and have read them on this whole EBola thing as well as read upon internet journals myself.
It is pretty obvious that Ebola isn't a large threat to the developed world. We actually have advanced medicine. The developing world has a small chance of it being a threat, but of people take precautions they won't get it.
Basically, Ebola is as infectious as AIDS and more lethal than that, so there's no reasonable need to worry.

Yes, and it's SO hard to get, that a nurse (in full protective gear) got sick. HMMM...

There's a difference between the two. Avian Flu and H1N1 were both, being strains of influenza, highly contagious. While the actual risk of death from any individual case of influenza is low, the risk of infection is fairly high. Obviously the more people that can get sick, the more people that can die. This is why Ebola is really not anything to worry about. The fact that the means of Ebola transmission are not particularly effective, combined with its high mortality rate, means that it is much less likely to widely spread and is more susceptible to burn out that influenza. The real threat that I've seen, particularly here in the states, is panic and the voices that spread it. The American news media has been incredibly irresponsible with their coverage, dipping down into levels of sensationalism completely unbecoming of legitimate journalists.

They are just worried that I am going to hog all the chocolate. Now I know why everyone is so terrified. I'd be terrified too if my chocolate supply was in danger.

If it infects Ivory Coast, I will be deeply saddened.
