Really?

Of course not. I'm scaremongering. Seems to be the thing to do.

This will become an even greater pandemic but, with the right care and treatment, it is treatable. The media, meanwhile, hypes the "90% DEATH RATE!" bollocks that gets everyone in a stir. Through in the, "Yeah but it's in Africa..." attitude and soon enough - as we're beginning to see - it'll spread to the Western World. If you think media hype and scare stories are bad now, wait until there's a second case in a given Western country.

Well, I'd think that any person or group with any morals whatsoever would try to help those in need if they can...but perhaps that's just me.

US citizens can go to fight ebola if they want. I'd be fine with keeping aid workers quarantined for a week after they come back.

Eh, you're probably right. Seeing as how I have no morals and don't help people, and only make things worse for them on purpose.;

Actually, I think it's less about morals and more about not getting the US population infected by someone who took a layover in Europe

This guy in Dallas, I say we send him to prison for attempted murder of all of America. Don't kill him, just send him to prison. That way, more prisoners will get Ebola, then we get an excuse not to release them, and dont give them medical care either, that way we can cut down on the prison population.

Because we are imperialist little fucking shits who don't like the world and want to see all of it under our fucking flag.

This is exactly the reason why nearly every country in the world is so angry at the United States, Because of that fucking comment right there.

But airborne strains do exist, and because a Virus doesn't follow the same rules of evolution as actual living things, it could mutate to Human-infectation.

And when that happens, don't expect that plague to do a SINGLE thing.
