Each of these jewish communities are on the "liberal" side of the spectrum. I believe it deals with how much of oral torah they accept.

Is it correct to say they're just organisations formed by cultural/ethnic Jews not willing to become full Jews or something like that? Kind of like Unitarian Universalists in Christianity.

In the states anyway, those tend to refer to politics only and not religious belief. Now there is a long tradition in America of jews being at the head of the early progressive movement. the first us labor union was formed by jews. But it's not a how religious thing. Orthodox rabbis were among the first to march with Dr Martin Luther King

I love the Jewish people. Between their whimsical culture, generally friendly attitude, that relationship with their rabbi that I somewhat long for, and hosting those wonderful Bar Mitzvahs. However Jewish nationalism (Zionism) is where start to have a problem with this religion/race. Of the Jews I know and their families don't even seem to be remotely interested in reclaiming Israel. So I suppose I like the "settled down" type of Jew who just wants to live their life wherever they happened to end up at.

But there are plenty of Progressive, Reform, and liberal synagogues who take varying stances as to how close one is obligated to follow the laws of Torah, which are MUCH more lentiant then the Conservative and Orthodox.

Ethnicity is probably a better term in this instance, than race.

true....true....but I mean the U.N. purchased land for this certain ethnicity to develop a country in, and this country has superior civil and political rights that are much more in line with the Declaration of Human Rights than most of its neighbors, who may or may not be known human rights violators.

One of the first reason for Zionism was due to the persecution that Jews received from others in Europe, including the Holocaust. Israel has helped keep more Jews safe.
