I worry that could come too close to proselytization. I think this thread is OK, as it is clear it is meant for Jews, anyone else is excepted, but not invited. With something like that, it may seem as if we are trying to teach Goyim that do not want to learn about Torah.

I know! It was meant as a joke.

As an Orthodox person, no. No way. Learn Achrei Mos, all those "ervas" pesukim. NO NO NO. Not tznius, and in Devarim Perek 22 Pasuk 5 it says:
לֹא־יִֽהְיֶ֤ה כְלִי־גֶ֨בֶר֙ עַל־אִשָּׁ֔ה וְלֹֽא־יִלְבַּ֥שׁ גֶּ֖בֶר שִׂמְלַ֣ת אִשָּׁ֑ה כִּ֧י תֽוֹעֲבַ֛ת יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶי֖ךָ כָּל־עֹ֥שֵׂה אֵֽלֶּה:
English:
A man's attire shall not be on a woman, nor may a man wear a woman's garment because whoever does this is an abomination to Hashem, your God.

Is a man a man because he has a penis or because god gave him a spirit that is that of a man?

Isn't a trans person a person who wants to be the other gender for reasons?
But to your question, I'd say that they'd be considered what their body is, but i'm not a rav, so I cannot say clearly. I'm reasoning this because you cannot know for sure what soul you have, and there are no mistakes in heaven, so clearly Hashem wanted the neshama to go to a body of someone else's gender.

A trans person is a person who does not identify as the sex they where assigned at birth. Since identity is core part of who a person is, is in essence, the soul of the person, then a trans person is someone whose body and soul do not align. So the question is, which dictates the dress of a person, the body (which can be changed using modern medicine), or the soul.

Since clothing is physical, and the body is physical, I'd say the body, don't forget there are also Atheist trans people!

Of course there are atheist trans people, but if a god exists, then regardless of their belief they are a soul in the wrong body. As to since clothes and the boy are both physical do it to the body, then you harm the soul by denying it. If god intentionally placed a male soul in a female body, why do you ignore the soul for the body? It would seem to me that intentionally placing a male soul in a female body, as you claim god makes no mistakes, would mean that god focus's on the soul. In which case it is the soul that should determine dress.

The soul didn't want to come to earth in the first place. We actually don't know who's soul is whos, so we cannot assume: This guy is actually female.
