I was going to cite Thiago, Mateus, Jorge and Matthew, but these names are... I don't know, masculine? They sound like they will sound a bit antiquated in 20-30 years from now, just like José, Joaquim and Antônio became grandpa names, and Rogério and Sandro uncle names.

I named my son Jack. It's a good name, fit for both a boy and a man. It's not as "unique" as Spock Aragon-Braxton (Last Name), so I'm not laying awake late at night hoping people aren't making fun of him and me for my poor naming abilities.

Jack is a good name, with the names I have been hearing recently I seems people seem to forget that children will grow into adults.

Come on Julius, Lawrence, Cornelius being the main names I will choose are not bad names, a little unique but nothing really to be humiliated about. Plus they could just change it if they don't like it and estrange themselves from me completely(I hate teenagers so i wouldn't mind really).
