Yes.

Unless of course it's not OK for a woman to ask for a female to ask for a female officer to carry out body checks. In which case, the answer would be no.

Haha, holy crap, we're not wasting any time tonight! No, I'm not pro-Soviet or anything.

What about Anatoly Cherdenko???

But really, Stalin was the best; he defended the nation against the German invaders and drove them all the way back to Berlin, although it did cost a bunch of lives.

A reformer, destroyed Stalin's influence in one fell swoop, started what could have been a move towards much greater representation and loosening of party control, devolutionist, much more pro-free expression, much more internationalist, ended the troikas, greater transparency, introduced competition into local government, made big moves to improve food supply and education, the scientific powerhouse era, markedly improved relations...

Peace could have been made with Khrushchev, and with it, a move towards real reform. The US (mainly) sided with anti-reform elements in Russia to shoot him down.

I may disagree with his economics but Trotsky wasn't the kind of person that would kill off his generals...besides what wouldn't the Right know of "murdering assholes"?

Getting complete and total power turns people into douche bags. That is a well known fact. So while Trotsky might have been a great guy compared to Stalin, put him in a position of unlimited power, and his idealism would have faded fast.

Russia has a culture of being ruled. They don't want freedom. When Russia's leader is strong, Russia is strong. When he is weak, Russia is a weak.

Um, none? The Soviet Union abandoned real Marxist principles the moment Lenin came on the scene.
I was voted "most likely to become a post-structuralist philosopher who resents being called 'postmodern'" in high school! How meta!
