Or even republicans/Louisianans in general. It's a very specific subset of Louisiana voters that are republican.

You damn liberals, always exaggerating just to make fun of us Conservatives. Obama was not even alive in the time of Ceaser! The first thing he messed up was Pearl Harbor, and then Vietnam, and then he did 9/11 and then Katrina. Get your facts straight, will ya?

But yeah, there'll always be stupid people, and as Farn pointed out, such a small sample doesn't say much about the population in general.

Who do you think was more responsible for the poor response to Hurricane Katrina: George W.Bush or Barack Obama?
George W. Bush 28%

29%
Barack Obama

44%
Not sure

Very specific and very, very small. Mitt Romney got 1,152,262 votes in Louisiana in 2012, that makes this ... carry the 14 ... two one-hundredths of one percent of that total (assuming all those votes were registered Republicans).

Right?

I mean...technically it's true that Obama has a poor response to Katrina. He wasn't president yet so he couldn't have done anything and idleness is a crime.

Or maybe when he served as senator as part of the Foreign Relations Subcommittee on European Affairs. it was somehow his fault for not getting Europeans to help them in...you know what, no. I can't think of any excuses for this.

But isn't that the distinction between the USA (a.k.a America) and 'Murica? The US is full of normal people, but there's a subcommunity called 'Murica that holds stupid political opinions. I always figured that's what 'Murica refers to.

That's not how I perceive it. To me it almost always is an attempt to tar all of America with the same brush being used on a few. Anyway, we digress.

I have to wonder how many of these people picked Obama as a middle finger to those who still blame Bush for everything. Or who picked it as an equivelant to picking an NSG poll's comedy option.
Also, chocobos.
