Obama is a wizard that is twice as powerful as Harry Potter, Gandalf, and Shazam combined and caused the disaster and stifled Bushes potentially heroic response.

Obama is a time traveler that can take over people in the past, this is why Republicans sometimes seem confused or slow to respond, they are good Christian souls trying to resist possession by Obama.

I rarely read anything beyond the OP, but

this is incredibly disappointing.

Why was that option even given? This is almost definitely 29% of Louisiana Republicans picking the joke option in a poll.

4 questions. A very short easy poll. Not so long it may confuse anyone....

And opinion polls often sample a portion of the populace it is acquiring data for, since it is unfeasible and unreasonable to ask every single member of a group if the group is too large. Any class dealing with statistical analysis can teach you this. If you question every member, one may take long collecting the data it may no longer be relevant to the time frame the poll was first started, and errors in data collection can occur.

This is a common collection method for opinion polls, so anytime one sees such a poll, it is a small portion of the group that is questioned, and the method can follow a random collection method, one of targeted collection, or a regional sampling (questions spread by region to ensure representation of each region in the poll. ) So although hiding behind the fact it is less than 800 Republicans may be technically true, it shows you do not understand how statistical analysis works.
The government in America can best be described with an analogy. The two political parties are two cats, the elite is a rat, power is the cheese, and the common people is the floor. The floor feels two cats can guard the cheese better than one. But the cats fight each other, and the rat makes off with the cheese in glee. The floor cannot leave, and soon both cats serve the rat, because the rat has the all powerful cheese, and gives the cats a small bit of it. So the floor gets crapped on by all three, as they eat the cheese together.

Just imagine. If it was enough of a parody, O'Reilly might be able to get John Stewart and maybe even Colbert and Limbaugh to play parts. It seems like it could be partially up all their alleys.

It's not too different from hoping 22% of NSG was just picking the joke option when they said the Jews caused the USSR to collapse.

Has anyone done any form of statistical analysis on how many pick the joke option on NSG polls, by the way? It usually seems to be 20-30%, which would make the PPP poll on the high end but still close to the norm.

Well, the problem is that democracy relies on an informed populace.... and there are overly large segments of the population which are not informed..... not that they do not have access to the information that would help them make informed deicions and formulate informed position.... but just that they do not care and spout off what they have been told to say and told to think without any personal research or study into the particular issue they are opinionateing on.
Such heroic nonsense!

Hell, they invite each other over to each others shows all the time. And McCain can play a short part (similar to two parts in Air Force One, he'd be the tough grizzled President kicking Obama's lackey's i.e. terrorist butt like Harrison Ford's character, but die in the first 5 minutes after a heroic scene like Steven Seagalls Character, and then the opening would show the torch of leadership passing to O'Reilly. And that would be the opening every show.
