I did know that the White House was burned down in 1812, though as you say it would have been trivially easy for me to learn that only after you mentioned history being ignored, plus you quite clearly don't like me, so I don't expect you'll take my word for it. It doesn't really matter either way, because as I said, what happened to the White House in the past and whether people know about it or not has no bearing on what might have happened had a plane been crashed into it 13 years ago today.
