SIG braces are now illegal to shoulder (if someone sees it), by the way.

So the BATFE finally made up its mind about those things. Does that mean a pistol buffer tube is illegal to shoulder?

By the way they worded their letter, simply holding a pistol with two hands could potentially be considered illegal (in theory). It's going to be interesting.

That's certainly interesting.

Atlantic Firearms has been hinting at a US-made semi-clone of the PP-19-01 Vityaz now, so perhaps I found something to put that triangle folder on so it isn't a total fudge. Noice.

In layman's: 9x19mm AK carbine that uses Colt 9mm AR magazines (kind of wish it used MP5 magazines instead so it'd be a closer clone, but whatever).

"It shoots through schools" is the only line in movies that has got MORE offensive with each passing year. :)

As soon as I move out (my Mom hates guns the only political stand point she disagrees with my Dad about) I'm going to get an FN Five-seveN or an M-14 and maybe a PS-90 (the fact the mag is capped and the barrel is ridiculously long annoys me, it's like the whole f***ing point of the gun to have a 50 round mag and a short barrel I can live with the semiauto restriction but still), at some point I also want to buy an AR-57 and an M1 Garand

Why ruining the precision of a Mosin? I really can't understand sawed-off stuff. Can't one just use a pistol?

This falls under "some people just aren't bright".

If memory serves under the original concept pistols weren't as available and rifles weren't as concealable so they split the difference

Yes but a pistol round doesn't carry the weight of a 7.62x54mmR into your chest.

Also can be used as a breaching weapon.
